Convert a paystub to a spreadsheet in three clicks
Download the stub from your payroll portal (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, Workday, Rippling, and most others offer a PDF), then drop it into the converter above. StubCSV reads the text inside the PDF, rebuilds the earnings, taxes, and deductions tables, and shows you a preview before anything is downloaded.
The CSV opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and LibreOffice. There's nothing to install and no account to create.
Pay stub to CSV or to Excel?
A CSV is the most portable spreadsheet format there is, and Excel opens it with a double-click. For most people, the free CSV is all they need: sort it, total it, or paste it into a budget or an application form.
If you'd rather receive a formatted .xlsx workbook, the Excel export is part of the paid plans. The numbers are identical either way.
Stack a year of pay stubs into one sheet
Every detailed CSV uses the same eleven columns and repeats the employer, employee, and pay dates on each row. Paste one stub's rows under another's and you have a tidy table you can pivot by category or month.
Prefer one row per paycheck? Download the one-row summary CSV instead and append it to a running income log.
Checked before you download
After extraction StubCSV confirms that gross pay minus total taxes and deductions equals net pay. A green check means the numbers are internally consistent. A warning shows how far off they are, so you know which lines to compare with the PDF before you send the sheet to a landlord, lender, or accountant.
