Download a single check from the Paylocity portal
Paylocity logins are often at access.paylocity.com, or a company-branded link that opens the same self-service app. Go to Pay, then check history or pay statements. The label varies by company. Open one check.
Download the PDF if that button is there. Otherwise print that one check to PDF. Printing a whole date range can bundle several checks into one file. StubCSV reads a file as one statement, so one check per PDF is the clean path. A screenshot of the check history grid will be rejected.
Hours, rate, and withholdings in rows
People searching for a Paylocity spreadsheet usually want the check detail in Excel or Google Sheets: regular hours, overtime, federal and state withholding, retirement, and the current amount. The detailed CSV is one row per line. Rate and hours are filled on earnings rows when those numbers are printed. A salary line that only shows an amount comes through as that amount, with rate and hours left blank.
Year-to-date amounts are included when the statement has a YTD column. Descriptions stay as Paylocity printed them, including your company's earning and deduction names. The free file is a CSV, which Excel and Google Sheets both open. Paid plans can also download a formatted .xlsx workbook.
Overtime tracking and a loan packet
If you are hourly, stack a few checks and you can total overtime hours next to overtime pay without copying the check detail by hand. For a mortgage or rental application, the summary rows are the figures people usually ask for: gross and net, current and year-to-date.
The built-in check compares gross, taxes, deductions, and net on the extracted numbers. A warning means those four don't agree, so compare the lines with the PDF. It does not know your employer's pay rules, and it is not a statement that Paylocity calculated the check wrong.
