How to convert a pay stub PDF
Download the stub from your payroll portal as a PDF, then drag it into the box above. StubCSV reads the text inside the PDF, rebuilds the earnings, taxes, and deductions tables, and shows you a preview. Check it, then download the CSV.
If the portal only shows the stub on screen, use your browser's Print dialog and choose Save as PDF. That produces a text PDF that converts cleanly. Scans and phone photos don't contain text yet, so we'll ask you for a text PDF instead of guessing at the numbers.
What the CSV looks like
The detailed CSV has one row per line on your stub with these columns: employer, employee, pay date, period start, period end, category, description, rate, hours, current, and YTD. Summary rows for gross pay, total taxes, total deductions, and net pay are included at the bottom.
Prefer one row per paycheck? The one-row summary CSV puts every field and line item in a single row, perfect for appending to a running income log.
Private by design
Pay stubs include your pay, your employer, and often part of your SSN. StubCSV processes the file in memory and discards it when the response is sent. Nothing is saved, and the CSV itself is generated in your browser.
